How everyone in construction can win

But this book isn't just about women - it's for men in construction too. Whether you've felt pressured to join in 'site banter' to fit in, or witnessed colleagues being mistreated but didn't want to 'rock the boat', this book shows how we can work together to make construction better for everyone.

The construction industry can be rewarding but it can also be tough, particularly as a woman.

I believe that everyone deserves to go to work and be treated with respect. To be able to do their job without being hindered by ill-fitting PPE or faced with a lack of suitable welfare facilities. To be able to work and thrive without being belittled, bullied or worse.

During the research for my book I spoke to many people in the industry and it became apparent things aren't great for many men in construction either.

My mission is to open people's eyes to the actual experiences real women in the industry regularly face so that we can work together to make it better - not just for women, for everyone. Because everyone in construction can win!
